AMBASSADOR JUSU PRESENTS LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO EU

On Wednesday 6th May, the Sierra Leone Ambassador to Belgium and accredited to the European Union HE Philip Bob Jusu presented letters of credentials to the Presidents of the European Commission-HE Ursula Von der Leyen and European Council-HE António Costa making his first official assumption of duty in the EU.

Accompanying the Ambassador were the Deputy Ambassador Mrs Asmaa James and the Head of Chancery Mr Jonathan Las-Lamin.

Ambassador Jusu first presented the letters of recall and of the former Ambassador and his letters of credentials to the President of the Council and later to the President of the Commission at a solemn ceremony held at the EU Headquarters in Brussels.

Over the years, the EU has remained one of Sierra Leone’s most reliable development partners, supporting the country’s efforts to build resilience, strengthen governance, and foster inclusive economic growth.
