Excellency Philip Bob Jusu formally presented his Letters of Credence to His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg. The ceremony, a cornerstone of international protocol, took place at the historic Grand Ducal Palace.
As the Ambassador accredited to the Benelux Union (comprising Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg), Ambassador Jusu’s presentation formally inaugurates his mission in the Grand Duchy.
Grand Duke Guillaume extended a warm welcome and congratulations to Ambassador Jusu on his assumption of duty, wishing him success in his diplomatic endeavours. His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of diplomatic representation and reaffirmed Luxembourg’s commitment to strengthening its bilateral relations with Sierra Leone.
Ambassador Jusu, in turn, conveyed the cordial greetings and sincere best wishes of His Excellency President Bio and the Government and people of Sierra Leone. He stated Sierra Leone’s firm intention to reinforce its friendship and diplomatic connections with Luxembourg, which is viewed as an important ally within the European Union and on the international stage. The discussion provided an opportunity to review the established foundations of this bilateral relationship.
