On Wednesday, 21 January 2026, His Excellency Philip Bob Jusu, Ambassador of Sierra Leone to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, presented his Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander. The colour ceremony, steeped in tradition, took place at Noordeinde Palace in The Hague.
Accompanied by Deputy Ambassador Mrs Asmaa James and Information Attaché Ms Betty Milton, the Ambassador was received with a guard of honour before his audience with the King. His Majesty welcomed the Ambassador, noting his previous ties to the country as a student at Groningen University. Both countries set out to bolster their relations through concrete improvements in how their institutions function and how they uphold human rights.
