Sierra Leone’s Development Secretary Mr Ambrose James visited the Brussels Mission on Tuesday, 10 February, while in Belgium to inspect the ongoing renovation of the premises.
During his visit, he met with H.E. Ambassador Philip Bob Jusu and senior staff members to discuss the refurbishment and the Mission’s current activities. Ambassador Jusu noted that the renovation addresses longstanding infrastructure needs and is intended to support the Mission’s multilateral work. He observed that the project has been positively received within the Sierra Leonean community.
Mr James spoke about the need for a functional and representative working environment that reflects Sierra Leone’s role internationally. He also acknowledged the constructive working atmosphere within the mission and encouraged the team to maintain this approach in light of changing geopolitical circumstances
